Organizational Development & Change
This course examines the operational structure of community colleges, critical approaches to effective communication, principles of change processes, and diverse strategies for change agents.
This course will study innovations happening within small and large scale organizations in both the private and public sector. It focuses on internal best practices that have dramatic external influences. The subtopics include studying organizations through four frames: structural, human resource, political, and symbolic. Students will become familiar with studies, articles, news items, and academic papers on innovations in achieving practices and organizational excellence.
